Welcome to our website which we hope you will find interesting and enjoyable.

I am Ashley and along with my husband Colin, two children, Jody and Tye and our gorgeous Scottish Terriers, live in a small village in the north east of England on the outskirts of Durham.

 

We have over ten years experience with dogs both as pets and on a more professional level. Dogs have always been an important part of our family life and breeding Scottish terriers has always been our ambition.

 

We are pursuing our love of Scottish terriers and have successfully gained our affix or kennel name ‘Ellehcim’. Our girls ‘Pat, Peggy and Dot' are granddaughters of the champion Stuane Loch Guard and have many more champions throughout their pedigree. Our line will descend from this. We are grateful to the breeders of such great champions and to Mr and Mrs Richard; the owners of the mothers to our girls.

 

Our passion and aim is, with a bit of luck, to be successful in the show ring and to learn more as we progress. We also plan to rear all of our ‘Scotties in a happy, well socialised family environment, resulting in good health and great temperament. This is of upmost importance to us.

 

Over the years I have been lucky enough to have worked in different animal related areas; predominately dogs, gaining valuable knowledge about many breeds. It goes without saying that we have always had a pet dog in our family and are overjoyed that we finally own our own Scottish terriers.
